I agree that ele shamans need some love, but I also agree with the arguement that letting all shamans use swords would create an unreasonable amount of competition for caster swords, which are already some of the most hotly contested weapons in the game.On my shaman, I've found the 3.0 ish range on weapons to be nice. As far as we can tell, the 9% miss rate for normal attacks versus mobs of 4-5 levels below you just isn t true. Assuming that the miss rates that Blizzard posted are correct and working properly, use the following formula to determine if you should use your two handed weapon or dual wield: 80%(main_hand + 1/2 * off_hand) = two_handed
